We all know that that a father's role on a daughter's life is very important,
but we can't discount the impact and influence that a mother has on her daughter as well,
I would argue(认为) it's the role model that the daughter will most likely follow,
I will give you just a few examples of where I see this happening,
my wife to say the least is neat freak（洁癖） ,
she make sure that this house is always clean, 
the beds are always made and guess who's just like her,

her daughter
who wakes up just like her and makes the bed first thing in the morning
before she heads out to school,

another area that I see an influence being played out is in the area of health and fitness,
and my wife who's not a big person of heights（恐高） took her rock climbing this past weekend,
now rock climbing is not something my wife enjoys
she has a fear of heights,
but she wanted to set an example for her daughter
that she can push through her obstacles（克服） as well
and they spent a couple hours climbing rock wall at the rock gym
and in addition

she took her up every year to the top of this mountain called black mountain
and it's a hike about a 2 hour journey

and she pushed her through（度过难关） it and got to the top and celebrated
and what a great opportunity for my wife and my daughter to see each other in that kind of way,
never underestimate the impact a mother has on a daughter's life
